Berks Co. Dad Dies Days After York Co. Motorcycle Crash: Police

A Berks County dad has died days after a motorcycle crash, the Northern York County Regional Police announced on Wednesday.

Nicholas "Nick" Street, 33 of Mohnton, died at WellSpan York Hospital at 2:05 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4 from injuries he suffered following a motorcycle, the NYCRPD detailed.

"He was riding a 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he struck a bridge," the police stated in the release. 

The crash happened on Kitzmiller Road at Pentland Road in Manheim Township on Sunday, June 2, according to the police.

Nick's friends and family have been sharing about their sudden loss on social media.

One friend wrote in part:

"Nick lived everyday like there was no gurantee for tomorrow. He was kind hearted and free spirited."

Nick was an organ donor as one friend said, "he will be able to give and save lives as a result of his death."

He is survived by his family.
